The Edmonton Oilers kept their hopes for a Stanley Cup alive on Tuesday night as Connor McDavid's four-point night led the team to an 8-1 victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers are now one win away from capturing their first Stanley Cup since 1990.

The Oilers got off to a fast start, scoring twice in the first period. McDavid opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 6:26, and Draisaitl made it 2-0 at 12:23.

The Panthers got on the board in the second period when Aleksander Barkov scored at 10:23, but the Oilers quickly responded with two more goals from Bouchard and Hyman.

The Oilers put the game away in the third period with three more goals from Nurse, McDavid, and Draisaitl.

The Oilers will now have a chance to win the Stanley Cup on home ice in Game 7 on Saturday night.
